Without much commentary, a few simple links to pull up and ponder. If Israel and Palestine were to go to war, Israel would annihilate Palestine. Then what would happen?

Maybe the U.S. in Iraq was more of a needed long term military stratagy. Do we turn a blind eye to the nation we helped create?

My personal feeling is that it shouldn't have been created to begin with, but it was. So there we are.

I was trying to find that Onion article that was titled "War-weary Jews set up homeland between Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon", but you can't archive those articles that they used to have at the bottom with black and white pictures and old dates like December 7, 1942, etc... The Onion should bring those back, they were hilarious. I did find this article though, which is funny, but doesn't support my non creation of the Israeli state as much.

Well *guh*, there you have it folks.
The problem with the Left's Ideology in a nutshell: pondering whether Israel should "exist," whilst every one of her neighbors wreaks boundless violence in the name "offense" at a few cartoons.
But, Nooooo!!! It's not Anti-Semitism at work here, silly!....it's really "progressive" thinking.

First of all, I wasn't pondering whether Israel should "exist", I was stating my opinion that it shouldn't. But it does, and I believe we have a moral obligation to stand by this state because of our involvement in creating it. And secondly, what I was pondering was the future of the region and what roll our presence will take if a huge war broke out there. And thirdly, I don't have anything against Judaism that I don't have for every other religion. I'm an Atheist, not an anti-Semitic. Get it right, you facist pig. (heh, heh) I firmly believe we should have been compasionate to the war weary Jews and given them New York. What the hell, throw in Southern California too. That would leave northern California for the Native Americans.

Thanks for the clarification, President Ahmadinejad.

And, as we all can agree, Atheism is a belief system that also requires great Faith!

How has the weather been by you? We had about 25 inches of snow this weekend.

It was in the upper 60s all day. Very Sunny. This has been the warmest winter I've ever experienced in New Orleans. It got down chilly enough at night the last couple of days to turn the heat on. Brrrrrrrrrr!!! I won't be bragging when Summer hits though. Summer hangs for about 6 months at 98 degrees F and 98% humidity.

Have you been keeping in touch at all with poeple from Athens, or from Georgia, as a whole?

None of them. I keep up with Brad Morrow from Georgia State and that's about it. John Hinson e-mailed me last year after seeing my site. He lives in Seattle and seems to be doing well for himself. I don't know if you remember him. Have you kept up with anyone?

You know, I really haven't kept in touch with too many people. Steve Milsap, whom you met, I believe, a couple of times, is my biggest contact down there, and we speak less and less, which is a shame. I'd love to go down there again and reconnect. Are your parents still in suburban Atlanta?

No, they live on the north shore here in Louisiana now. The whole family has pretty much moved back here.
