I love this space art site. Check out the images of Titan, even though it would be much darker. I wish someone would invest in making planet cams. That would be quite expensive, especially in hostile environments, but I still want it. So give it to me! Oh, and I want sound too. And moving picture... not stills. So... any multibillionaires reading this: DO IT!!! I want to be able to go on the internet whenever I want and see this shit by summer of 2010.

Here's as close as we get today.

I love the idea - but there is a potential problem. Once the planet cam's get popular, the planet's ego will baloon & they'll start writing about their everyday bull shit drama. Then they'll start a gift list expecting you to buy them something! Not to mention they'll start getting lazy & walk away from the cam, so you have nothing but a full day of watching some cat choke up a hairball on the keyboard.

Hi Everybody... David White here. I love this space stuff!! Just wondering, (and I hate to turn this topic back to the race for Prez, but...) Ben - Even though you are probably the last person in the world that would vote for Bush, you are probably happy with his plan to send a human to Mars, right??? What are Kerry's views on space travel? I'm not asking this question to start another Bush/Kerry fight, I am just asking the question because I have no idea how Kerry feel about space. Please reply.

David White again... Just was reading some of your archived stuff and came across the posts that had some songs... I see that your play guitar and sing on the songs. Did you write them as well? They sound great. Do you still play?

Thanks for the compliment on the songs. Yes I wrote them. And yes I like Bush's commitment to sending humans to Mars. I don't really know Kerry's views on Space, but I would guess that Bush is stronger on that issue. It's a very important issue to me, but fortunately I'm not a one issue person. The only problem with the Bush Space plan is that it sucks the money from robotic space exploration (a much more knowledge oriented approach). Even though it does that, and even though I'm not a real gung ho, let's do it, kind of person, I still want it because I feel the need to make offworld colonies for the survival of the human race. I'd like us to get started on that as soon as possible.
